On April 2 we had our first Node & Chapter meeting by Zoom. (Notes are here, thanks to Jennifer Riley.) It seemed to work well, so we’ll do it again Thursday night; please join us. See below for details, including how to use the Zoom teleconferencing app. Also see below for Twitter training available tonight & other events coming up.
When to join the videoconference
6:45 pm: Orientation and Questions – For anyone new to 350Mass or who otherwise wants general background on what we are about, please join at 6:45 for an optional “newcomers” session. We can also do some Zoom coaching if necessary.
7:00pm Node/Chapter Meetings: Our main meeting will begin at 7:00. We suggest joining a little early if you are new to Zoom and want to check that it’s working for you.

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy in this challenging time. Shortly after our last Metrowest in-person meeting, 350Mass decided to avoid in-person gatherings until further notice, following the scientists’ advice about social distancing. Meanwhile, we aim to maintain and build our community of climate activists, and continue to make action plans. So our MetroWest Node and Chapter will meet via videoconference on April 2nd and 16th, and we hope you will join us!
350MassMetroWest.org, a local node of 350Mass statewide activist network, is helping to build the global movement to confront the climate crisis, right here in our own backyard, the MetroWest suburbs of Boston. Our monthly public meetings usually happen on the first Thursday, alternating between 2 locations in our region, where we gather to share, learn, and organize.
Our node meeting location normally alternates between:
– Peace Lutheran Church, 107 Concord Rd. Wayland MA
– First Parish of Sudbury, 327 Concord Rd, Sudbury MA
