Lobby Day at the Statehouse Tuesday, January 14, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Save the date! We will join with other members of the Mass Power Forward coalition to meet with our state reps and staff. We’ll be pushing again for passage of the MPF top legislative priorities. These now include the “Roadmap” bill, H.3983, mandating that the state develop and implement a plan for reaching net-zero emissions by 2050. For details on where to meet, watch for the weekly email blast from Vignesh Ramachandran at 350 Mass (“Climate Movement Weekly”) on January 7.

Municipal Sustainability Checklist

We have created a municipal “sustainability checklist” that can help towns compare what they are doing with other towns, as well as get ideas and encourage collaboration. For residents, the checklist helps understand what towns are doing and not doing, as well as set priorities for local advocacy. For organizers, the checklist is an excellent tool to organize local groups around, and to build networks of people who care about sustainability.
