Fossil Free Nikolausparty to support 350 Mass Action

Fossil Free Nikolausparty to support 350 Mass Action
Yup – it’s been a year, and times are getting crazier by the day, so we have to do it again: Bob, Debbie, and Sabine are joining forces to host a jazzy Nikolausparty in support of 350Mass Action on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Sabine’s house in Wayland. Food will be vegetarian. A variety of hard cider will be available for tasting, gluehwein, craft beers, wine… Music will be great. There will be a chance to join the Bob Gallo trio later in the evening so bring your favorite instrument (or vocal “chords”)! Jazz standards (Blue Bossa, Satin Doll, etc) will be available for all. Doors open at 5pm for those who prefer the classical vibe. Oh–and bring a small gift that you have not bought! We’ll collect all the small gifts in a bag and in the end everyone can take something home that was gifted from someone else… All you should bring otherwise is your checkbook and a generous spirit! You’re also welcome to make a donation online: Note that donations to 350Mass ACTION, though extremely important, are NOT tax deductible. If you prefer to make a tax-deductible donation we suggest you donate to 350Massachusetts for a Better Future instead:

Time critical actions:

Municipal Sustainability Checklist

We have created a municipal “sustainability checklist” that can help towns compare what they are doing with other towns, as well as get ideas and encourage collaboration. For residents, the checklist helps understand what towns are doing and not doing, as well as set priorities for local advocacy. For organizers, the checklist is an excellent tool to organize local groups around, and to build networks of people who care about sustainability.
